Four

HAPPY DECEMBER FOUR!

Today I'm thankful (strangely) for football.  Sunday afternoons mean football.  Always have, and chances are they always will.  There's something so relaxing and happy about taking a nap on the couch while a game is on in the background.

Of course, having married Kevin, that's no longer feasible.  There's no such thing as a "relaxing" game; the concept of having a game "on in the background" is non-existent.  It is loud.  It is passionate.  It is intense.  Regardless of the actual intensity of the game going on onscreen.  Kevin makes it so.  But he loves it.  And that's why I love it.

So, while I'm not nap-taking right now, I'm enjoying watching Kevin watch his team ("God's team," he says).  Shouting, chest-bumping with a friend, cheering, answering calls from his pop pop and dad, knocking things over, waving his G-force flag as Matthews scores a touchdown.
